Newly restructured Consumer Business Unit named exclusive distributor of Dyson and Rio

Jebsen Group (Jebsen), a leading marketing and distribution organisation for premium products in the Greater China region, announces that its Consumer Business Unit has been named the exclusive distributor in Mainland China of two premium British brands, Dyson and Rio, following a recent restructuring to place greater focus on China’s consumer market for high-end lifestyle items.

According to the latest report from the China Household Electric Appliances Association (CHEAA), demand in Mainland China for high-end brands that combine fashion and advanced technology, especially in the home appliances area, is rising fast. Jebsen Consumer’s new focus will help introduce consumers to more brands that bring style and practicality together in innovative ways to improve quality of life.

Dyson and Rio, to be introduced to China later this year, are two examples of brands that come with a range of products that cater to this emerging trend. Since launching the first lossless suction vacuum cleaner in 1993, Dyson has become a household name in nearly 50 countries and territories including Hong Kong, where it has worked with Jebsen Consumer for the last four years. Dyson vacuum cleaners feature groundbreaking technology that keeps homes cleaner and healthier, while its bladeless fans offer smooth airflow for greater comfort.

Rio, on the other hand, has quickly become one of UK’s most popular consumer brands by leading the rise of the home beauty industry. Its comprehensive home beauty products make the home salon a reality, providing a new kind of convenience especially for today’s young women.

In line with industry needs, Jebsen Consumer has now reorganised its activities into three new divisions: Consumer Electronics, Health Care & Beauty, and Home Enrichment.
