Jebsen Supports FAH-SYSU in Guangzhou, Cultivating Medical Talent

Jebsen Group, a leading premium brand builder and investor in Greater China, announced that it is to donate RMB 10 million to Sun Yat-sen University’s Education Development Foundation in Guangzhou. The donation will support the training and education of outstanding medical talent at the First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University (FAH-SYSU), jointly cultivating prominent young medical talent for China.

The donation will be received by FAH-SYSU for use in the “Jebsen & FAH-SYSU Education Fund” programme. As a renowned Grade-A tertiary hospital, FAH-SYSU not only provides medical services, but also undertakes clinical research and undergraduate and postgraduate education training.

At the donation ceremony, Professor Xiao Haipeng, Executive Vice President of Sun Yat-sen University and President of FAH-SYSU, presented a donation certificate to Jebsen Group and thanked the company for its kindness. He explained, “Talent is a primary resource for medical progress. The significant contribution Jebsen has made will be crucial to FAH-SYSU’s future growth.”

The “Jebsen & FAH-SYSU Education Fund” programme has begun immediately with the signing of the donation agreement between Jebsen and FAH-SYSU. The programme will provide funding to several outstanding medical students who have demonstrated exceptional qualifications each year and Jebsen Group will continue to support the medical development of FAH-SYSU.
