Alex Spitzy, Managing Director of Jebsen Consumer, shares insight on Brand Partnership with CASIO

Following G-SHOCK’s 40th Anniversary “AN EVOLUTION OF TOUGHNESS” exhibition, Mr. Alexander Spitzy, Chief Operating Officer of Jebsen Group and Managing Director of Jebsen Consumer, was interviewed by major media companies Sing Tao Daily and Headline Daily.

The interview by Sing Tao Daily and Headline Daily focused on Jebsen’s marketing strategy for CASIO timepieces. In the interviews, Alex said, “We plan to invest more in attracting young consumers and increasing product awareness and sales, such as sponsoring sports events or concerts, launching joint watches with other brands etc. Besides partnering with traditional stores like City Chain, we have developed premium distribution channels with Oriental Watch and Prince Jewellery & Watch, both known for selling renowned timepieces. We are also actively expanding the influence of G-SHOCK in Hong Kong and Macau through advertising, display, online marketing, sponsorship, and product innovation.”

In 2019, Jebsen Consumer became the exclusive distributor of CASIO timepieces and calculators in Hong Kong and Macau; 3 months later, the pandemic hit. Despite the challenge, Jebsen Consumer has managed to maintain CASIO’s distribution business over the last four years.

Alex said, “Both (Jebsen Group and CASIO) are family-owned and operated, with deep histories of development and a fearless attitude towards innovation… Working with CASIO has been a joyous and exciting experience. Our partnership is based on shared passion, trust, and a commitment to high transparency in management, which have brought us together and kept us connected to this day.”
