Recently, Jebsen Group was honored with the “Hong Kong Economic Times (HKET) Excellence Awards 2024 — Excellence in People Strategy and Workplace Culture” award in recognition of our outstanding talent strategy, emphasising our core value of being “people-oriented”.
In an interview with HKET, our Group’s Chief Human Resources Officer Ms. Sara Ho, shared the Group’s current policies and her insights. She believes that fostering a strong sense of belonging to the company is essential for boosting employees’ proactivity at work, thereby contributing more value and success to the organisation.
To effectively enhance our employee experience, we carry out the “Employee Insight Survey” regularly to understand employees’ needs to review and improve the Group’s measures accordingly, including welfare and benefits, work environment, and processes. For example, we launched flexible working hours, remote work policy, and the one-stop HR platform Jeb Link last year. Additionally, various employee activities and recreational activities were raised to build team cohesion as well as increase employees’ happiness, such as Family Day, Wellness Month, and charity relay runs, basketball games, Mahjong competition, and dart competition.
Ms. Sara Ho expressed her great honor and pride in the Group being awarded in this challenging market environment. She emphasised that the Group would continue to uphold the core value of “people-oriented,” foster a family-friendly corporate culture, and strengthen Jebsen Group’s influence as a strong and reliable employer brand.
