New management and team expansion part of Jebsen Marine’s development strategy for 2010.

Jebsen Group (Jebsen), a leading marketing and distribution organisation for premium products with a unique presence in the Greater China region, today announced the appointment of Mr Lars Petersen as general manager of its Marine Division. The appointment is part of a wider effort by Jebsen Marine to consolidate its leading market position, which also includes ongoing team expansion and participation in major international events.

The appointment of Mr Petersen enables Jebsen Marine to leverage his knowledge and relationships in the luxury industry to realise cross-marketing opportunities and take the business further.

Mr Petersen has 20 years of experience in the luxury industry and has been with the Jebsen Group since 1994. His reputation in the luxury car sector will translate well into the yacht business, where Jebsen has already carved a name as a distributor of established brands such as Riva, Archambault and Hanse.

Mr Petersen’s appointment is complemented by aggressive team expansion across Jebsen Marine, including recent new hires in sales, service, finance and crew, to meet the demands of a growing pipeline of new brand representations. Jebsen Marine will also be actively engaging in prestigious industry events in the region this year, such as the 2010 China International Boat Show in Shanghai.
