Jebsen Group (Jebsen), a leading marketing and distribution organisation for premium products with a unique presence in the Greater China region, unveiled 184 pairs of Skagen Denmark's limited-edition watches at the Expo 2010 Shanghai China Denmark Pavilion – one pair to mark each day of the first World Expo in China.

The collection of 184 his-and-hers watches was specially designed by Skagen Denmark, whose watches are marketed and distributed by Jebsen Watch in China. Skagen Denmark has been enjoying an enthusiastic response from Expo 2010 visitors since it began displaying and retailing its products in the Nordic Lighthouse back in May.

Exuding Skagen Denmark’s trademark minimalist aesthetic, each watch in the collection is ultra thin and has the words "丹麦Denmark, Expo 2010”, the logo of the Denmark Pavilion, and the limited-edition code engraved on its back.

Since partnering with Jebsen Watch in 2009, Skagen Denmark has experienced rapid development in the China market. Jebsen Watch has introduced the brand to almost 30 cities in the country, including Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, and established more than 70 points of sales. With the strategic input from Jebsen Watch, Skagen Denmark targets to set up 200 points of sales in China within two years.

As one of the divisions under the Group’s Luxury Business Unit, Jebsen Watch has grown enormously – a 100 per cent sales increase in the past year alone. In response to a burgeoning demand for lifestyle premium products, Jebsen Watch's thriving sales network covers the Greater China region well, supported by local dedicated teams.

Moreover, Jebsen Watch is helping other brands including Raymond Weil, NOMOS, Porsche Design and Paul Picot to extend growth. For example, the distribution of Raymond Weil has expanded to over 80 points of sales, while NOMOS is distributed in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Chongqing and Shenyang – key cities for luxury brands.

Said Jebsen’s Group Director Mark Bishop: “It is our goal to establish a complete portfolio of brands, from high-end to fashionable watches, to meet different consumer needs. We work closely with brand owners to position and nurture their businesses for long-term success in the rapidly expanding markets of China.”
