Jebsen Beer celebrates successful first anniversary of bringing super premium European brands to Taiwan market

Expansion in Greater China continues as Blue Girl Beer has also become the third-largest premium beer in Taiwan.

Jebsen Group (Jebsen), a leading marketing and distribution organisation for premium products in the Greater China region, has announced the first anniversary of  introducing world renowned beer brands of AB-InBev to the Taiwanese beer market.

Since starting to represent Boddingtons, Hoegaarden, Leffe and Stella Artois early last year to complement its very own Blue Girl Beer in its portfolio, Jebsen Beer has achieved significant headway in Taiwan, noting high growth for the premium beer segment.

This marks a key milestone in the aggressive regional expansion of the Group’s beverage business, which is already enjoying success in the Hong Kong and mainland Chinese markets.

The four European brands have become niche leaders in the super premium beer market in Taiwan. In addition, Jebsen Beer’s hallmark Blue Girl Beer brand, which was launched here in 2006,has continued to thrive as well, and is now the third most popular premium beer in a competitive local market.

In 2010, growth in this segment is expected to accelerate. These super premium European beer brands will collectively see 50 per cent higher sales over 2009, and Jebsen Beer will meanwhile continue to build awareness and expand distribution for Blue Girl Beer in Taiwan and the rest of the region.

In conjunction, Jebsen Beer has also just launched, further boosting its presence in Greater China.
