We are over the moon for the four teams of colleagues across Hong Kong, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen who completed the annual MoonTrekker night race, scaling the Lantau Peak to catch Hong Kong’s mesmerising sunrise together.
It was Jebsen’s seventh time joining the race since 2013, and we were thrilled to see the highest participation in this year’s race. 16 finalists from four different locations got together and completed the most difficult section of the race route in June as assessment, ready to further gear up themselves to take on the 30km challenge in four months’ time.
With months of preparation and practice, the teams successfully mounted the city’s iconic Lantau Peak and crossed the finish line hand in hand in the October race. The MoonTrekker is no walk in the park, but the beautiful sunrise, encouragement among the teams and the support from Jebsen friends and alumni along the way made it all worthwhile for the teams. Well done Jebsen athletes for the stellar results! Also a big shout-out to the Fine Wines Hong Kong team for ranking 2nd in the “Moonlit – Corporate” category!
