The 100km Treadmill Charity Challenge took place on Saturday 10 June 2023 at the Kowloon Bay International Trade & Exhibition Centre. The event brought together corporate and elite athletes to run for “Kai Tak Sports Initiative”, a community project by Kai Tak Sports Park that supports the development of community sports and increases sports participation in Hong Kong.
We were excited to host a Jebsen-exclusive 10km relay session, with 10 teams joining from various business lines and cities. We have raised a total of HK$88,000 for Kai Tak Sports Initiative.
The teams from Beverage, Motors, Jebsen Capital and Group Functions, were required to complete a collective 10km within an hour. While our runners were putting their best effort on the track, Ms. Sara Ho, Chief Human Resources Officer; Mr. Samson Cheng, General Manager of Porsche Centre Hong Kong & Macau; Ms. Noel Ho, Head of Human Resources of Beverage; and Ms. Mia Fan, Human Resources Manager of Porsche Centre Hong Kong & Macau, along with other colleagues, cheered the runners on as they crossed the finish line.
Congratulations to the Jebsen Wines & Spirits team for finishing the race with a speedy pace of 44 minutes, winning the champion’s trophy and taking home the sponsored G-SHOCK watches. Followed closely were Porsche Centre Shenzhen Longhua and Longgang team, which managed to complete the race within 45 minutes and 47 minutes respectively. Our runners’ amazing sportsmanship and determination in this tough challenge were truly impressive.
