【Shenzhen】As of July 2021, Jebsen Motors’ Porsche Centre Shenzhen Futian and Porsche Centre Shenzhen Longgang have jointly delivered a cumulative total of 20,000 cars since their opening.
On July 15, a ceremony celebrating the 20,000th delivery took place at Porsche Centre Shenzhen Futian, where Mr Joachim Eberlein, Managing Director of Jebsen Motors, and Mr Victor Zhang, General Manager of the Porsche Centre Shenzhen Futian and Porsche Centre Shenzhen Longgang, greeted guests – handing over the car keys and a commemorative gift to the proud owner of the 20,000th car delivered.
During the ceremony, Mr Eberlein expressed his confidence about Jebsen Motors’ long-term investment in the Shenzhen market, saying: “13 years ago, we opened the city’s first Porsche Centre – Porsche Centre Shenzhen Futian. Fast-forward to today and we now have two high-quality Porsche 4S Centres in Shenzhen – Porsche Centre Shenzhen Longgang, which opened in 2015, and Porsche Centre Shenzhen Longhua, which opened in March this year –plus the Porsche Centre Shenzhen Futian flagship showroom which opened in 2018, and the Porsche Express City Service Centre Shenzhen Futian, the city’s first of its kind, which opened at the beginning of 2021. Our ever-expanding network empowers us to serve our customers in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area better than ever before.”
Jebsen Motors’ successful partnership and collaboration with Porsche began in 1955 when Jebsen first introduced the brand to the Hong Kong market; 2021 marks the 20th anniversary of Porsche entering the Chinese mainland market, as well as the 20th anniversary of Jebsen Motors’ first Porsche showroom on the Chinese mainland. Given these anniversaries, the delivery of Porsche Centre Shenzhen Futian and Longgang’s 20,000th Porsche car holds an even greater significance.
As one of Porsche’s largest global dealer group partners, Jebsen Motors now owns 12 Porsche centres across Greater China. Despite 2020’s many challenges, Jebsen Motors has beaten the odds to achieve record-breaking sales, delivering over 10,000 new cars across the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Macau – which represents approximately 11% of total Porsche sales in the region during this time period. Aside from achieving great sales success, Jebsen Motors is also highly respected within the automotive industry, and was recently awarded Porsche China Dealer of the Year for the sixth consecutive year.
In recent years, both Porsche Centre Shenzhen Futian and Porsche Centre Shenzhen Longgang have received many awards for their outstanding management strategy and collaborative efforts of their employees. These awards include twice ranking first in the Porsche China Dealer of the Year Awards (in 2016 and 2017), ranking first in the South China Region Dealer of the Year in 2019 and 2020, and ranking in the top three in various Porsche China competitions over 15 times.
