Jebsen Group is pleased to announce its latest acquisition of leading pet food and supplies retailer ADP Group (“ADP”), marking Jebsen’s very first investment in the pet care and retail industry.

Founded in 1996 by two brothers Alexander and Paul Yip, ADP is best known to pet owners for its retail chain brands Q-Pets and Red Carrot. Over the years, ADP has expanded its business operations and now boasts 42 brick-and-mortar retail chain stores, an e-commerce platform, and six franchise stores in Hong Kong. In addition, ADP has established a wholesale presence and online e-commerce channels in the Chinese mainland. As stated by the Yip brothers, “ADP and Jebsen joining forces represents a huge opportunity for growth, particularly within the Chinese mainland. We are confident that Jebsen’s expertise in brand building will further strengthen our market leadership and create new opportunities for international partnership for our company.”

Jebsen Group’s recent acquisition of ADP positions the company to enhance and expand the existing infrastructure of ADP, with a strategic aim of becoming a foremost player in both Hong Kong and Greater China. “Jebsen has been actively pursuing opportunities to expand its footprint in attractive industries that are close to the consumer,” said Alexander Spitzy, Chief Operating Officer of Jebsen Group and Managing Director of Jebsen Consumer. “As the foremost pet care retailer in Hong Kong, Q-Pets presents significant opportunities to not only tap into the domestic market but also to expand further into Greater China. We look forward to continuing Q-Pets’ dominance as the preferred shopping destination for pet care customers and are excited to develop innovative pet care solutions.”

Jebsen Group is dedicated to maintaining Q-Pets’ position as the top choice for pet care customers and is committed to contributing to the growth and development of the pet care sector.
