Jebsen Group was proud to be awarded the Enterprise Award at the 2022’s DHL/SCMP Hong Kong Business Awards on December 1, in recognition of the Group’s extraordinary performance in the areas of financial success, corporate social responsibility, people-oriented human resources management and business reputation.
The awards’ judging panel evaluated candidates’ performance in 2021 across five areas including financial success, innovation, social responsibility and employee relations, risk management and the organisation’s reputation. With our record turnover of HK$18.8 billion in 2021, COVID-19 relief for our staff and community, as well as our corporate rebranding initiative, Jebsen Group earned the highest scores in financial success, social responsibility and employee relations, and organisation’s reputation and thus, won the award.
Mr Hans Michael Jebsen, Chairman of the Group, led the Group’s senior management team to attend the awards ceremony. In his acceptance speech, Mr Jebsen highlighted the efforts of his colleagues, whose contributions have helped the company’s growth.
“I would like to thank each and every colleague at the Jebsen Group for a collective effort that makes this award possible. Our colleagues prove time and again to be the epitome of resilience and dedication all the way, including over the past – in many aspects- challenging years. I would like to dedicate this award to our past and present colleagues across Greater China,” said Mr Jebsen.
Mr Jebsen also showed his appreciation to our business partners: “We are equally grateful to our business partners for placing their trust in us. We make sure world-leading brands reach their full potential in our existing markets.”
Finally, Mr Jebsen expressed the Group’s confidence in Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland, pledging that Jebsen will continue to create a positive impact in the Greater China market.
The Hong Kong Business Awards were founded by DHL and South China Morning Post in 1990.
