Jebsen Group was recently awarded a Certificate of Merit by the “Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence 2021” (HKAEE) – another recognition of Jebsen’s continued efforts and achievements in sustainable development.
The HKAEE is led by the Environmental Campaign Committee (ECC) alongside the Environment and Ecology Bureau, Advisory Council on the Environment and Hong Kong Productivity Council, in conjunction with major chambers in Hong Kong. The HKAEE is an annual award that aims to encourage organisations to implement, measure and recognise excellent environmental management and performance. Known as Hong Kong’s “Oscar” in the field of environmental management, the HKAEE is famous for its credibility and its rigorous and objective assessment mechanisms.
The assessment criteria for the HKAEE are based on key factors including Green Leadership, Programme and Performance, and Partner Synergy. In order to ensure an objective evaluation, assessors visited both Jebsen’s headquarters in Hong Kong and the Porsche Service Centre Hong Kong Hung Hom. Besides the outstanding environmentally-friendly measures implemented in our operating locations, the assessors also admired our ambition to achieve net-zero carbon emissions, demonstrating Jebsen’s green leadership.
