The Christmas Party is our annual gathering with the elderly at Siu Sai Wan in Hong Kong. With the sponsorship and support of the Group, Siu Sai Wan Housing for the Elderly successfully held the celebration activity on Dec 16. Jebsen volunteers once again got together with our dear old friends to celebrate the festive season!
This is our first resumed visit after a long wait due to COVID. Our old friends missed the Jebsen volunteers so much that the number of participants far exceeded our expectations. 17 Jebsen volunteers and their friends and families actively participated in the activity, arriving early to help set up the venue, and preparing the talent show.
During the event, Jebsen volunteers and the elderly did exercises together, and played “Searching for Santa Claus” and “The Best of Christmas” games, which were a lot of fun. Dilys and her friend brought a guitar performance and everyone sang Christmas songs together to create a festive atmosphere. Jebsen volunteers also distributed Christmas gifts to the elderly and had lunch to enjoy a blissful afternoon.
