During the relocation of the Guangzhou office, Group Facilities & Admin, GIT and Group Sustainability departments joined forces to donate used furniture and retired computers to the Guangdong Huiling Foundation for People with Intellectual Disabilities. This heartfelt initiative aimed to give these items a second life and support the foundation’s mission.

The donated furniture includes 45 items such as desks, chairs, shelves, and filing cabinets. The donated computer equipment includes 42 items such as laptops, desktop computers, monitors, and accessories. These office furniture and computer equipment have breathed new life into several  locations of the foundation.

The Guangdong Huiling Foundation for People with Intellectual Disabilities was established in 2013 with the mission of promoting community-based services to improve the quality of life for individuals with intellectual disabilities and facilitate their social integration. From 2021 to 2023, Jebsen Group collaborated with the foundation on the “Life is Art – Career Makes Future” programme. Over the past three years, the programme has provided internship training in vocational skills for 60 young people with special needs, and 8 of them have successfully obtained employment opportunities.

Since 2013, Jebsen Group has been donating retired computers and related equipment to charitable organisations. This initiative not only promotes resource recycling and reduces environmental impact but also helps these organisations optimise their hardware facilities, enabling them to better serve society and spread love and hope.
